How to make Pancakes start set

Instructions: Before using a new pan for the first time, rub the inside with vegetable oil or olive oil and then rinse it with warm water. It will not be necessary to do this the next time you use the pan. You can clean the pan quickly and easily using warm water and, if necessary ,a small amount of washing-up liquid. Never use metal or sharp cleaning utensils. Never place an empty pan on a hot hob and do not cut ingredients in the pan.
