Apple sauce recipe
Ingredients
1 kg apples (jonagold and elstar or otherwise prefer goudreinetten)
1 lemon (schoongeboend)
100 ml tap water
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Prepare
Peel the apples, cut them each into 4 pieces and pull the core out. Cut the 4 pieces then into small pieces. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze 1 lemon half out. Do the Apple along with the water, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, the sugar and the cinnamon in a large saucepan and wait until it boils. Turn the heat to low, put the lid angled in the pan and cook for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Remove the cover from the pan and turn off the heat. For a smooth applesauce puree you the applesauce 1 minute with the hand blender. Spoon the applesauce in a bowl.
